MID-WINTER CONFERENCE

January 14 & 15, 2011
The American Legion Auxiliary Department of Ohio Mid-Winter Conference will be held
January 14 and 15, 2011 at the Crowne Plaza Columbus North, 6500 Doubletree Avenue,
Columbus, Ohio.
Department Leadership Chairman Rene' Reese will conduct a Leadership Workshop on
Friday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. All members are encouraged to attend. Reservations
and a $5.00 fee per attendee are required.
The Department Juniors Activities Committee has planned an exciting meeting for the
Juniors so be sure to bring them along.
The Department Chairmen will have plenty of brochures and information regarding their
programs at the exhibit tables on Friday evening and Saturday morning.
Friday evening's session will begin at 7:00 PM. In honor of Department President Linda's
Theme, she is asking that all attending Friday night's session come dressed as a patriotic
character from history or in your patriotic attire. A National Security/Legislative Awareness
Program will include guest speakers.
Saturday's session will reconvene at 9:00 AM with updates from the Department
Chairmen and special guest Central Division Vice President Donna Fueling. A luncheon will
be served where Hospital Representatives will be honored guests. The Conference will
conclude with the famous Membership Skit featuring the District Presidents and directed by
Department Membership Chairman Vi Grzybowski.

American Legion Auxiliary. Rooms are $98.00 plus tax. Reservations must be made by
December 22, 2010. Cancellation of any reservation must be made 48 hours prior to arrival
date and confirmed by the hotel cancellation number.
